Hebi is an important auto & parts industrial base in Henan and one of the two auto electronic bases in the province. There are a group of leading  enterprises such as Tianhai Group, Hangsheng Electronics, Haichang Technology, Lianming Electric Appliances, and Fanhua Electric Appliances.  Industrial priorities are given to high-end automotive electronics, intelligent connected electronic products, and new energy auto parts (batteries, motors  and electric control units) to build an important industrial base of automotive electronics in the central and western regions.

Optical-communication electronics

Leading  enterprises  include  Shijia  Photons,  Willink  Electrooptic,  Tengte  Optical  Communication,  and  Optic  River  Communication.  Industrial priorities are given to optical devices, optical components, and optical modules, as well as gallium oxide wafer chips and optical fiber connectors, to build an industrial chain of ultra-high-speed and high-capacity optical transmission and network. Shijia Photon has pioneered an optical splitter chip project  in China, which breaks the foreign technological monopoly, winning a global market share of more than 50%. In August 2020, it was listed on the  science and technology innovation board, leading in the optical chip field.

3C Manufacturing

Leading enterprises include Foxconn, Tianhai Auto Electronics, Gengde Electronics and JD Intelligent Manufacturing. Industrial priorities are given  to information system integration and intelligent terminals for military (civilian) communication vehicles, and precision parts and molds of electronic  products, to build a 3C intelligent manufacturing industry cluster.
