Biological breeding

Leading enterprises include Henan Yongyou Seed and Yifa Animal Husbandry. Main seed products include high-starch corn, silage corn, and  other special varieties. It aims to build a national-level regional breeding pig (semen) supply center, the largest breeding goat base and mutton sheep  supply base in Henan, and the largest breeding poultry hatching base in North Henan. The broiler chicken breeding project of Henan Bolong Poultry  Breeding Company and the project of the agricultural circular economy at the core breeding farm of Yifa Animal Husbandry are underway.

Biomedicine

Key enterprises include Feitian Agriculture, Xintuoyang, and Shizhen Pharmaceutical. Projects such as Xintuoyang Biochemical Industrial Park and  Biotechnology Industrial Park are under expedited construction. Efforts are being made to build an important biomedicine industrial base in Henan.
